Bellmore JFK's O'Gorman Signs with CSU-Northridge

Bellmore JFK's 6'10 middle hitter Brian O'Gorman signed a letter of intent Friday to play his collegiate ball at Division I California State University, Northridge.

This past season, O'Gorman led the Cougars to their third consecutive Class B County title. JFK lost a five-set epic to Eastport-South Manor in the Long Island Championship.

O'Gorman was one of the Island's top defensive players and chose Northridge over George Mason Universtity, NJIT and Stevens Institute of Technology. This past season, he earned All-Couny honors in both volleyball and basketball
