Boys Volleyball Top-Five Rankings (Nassau)
First off: I heartily apologize for not posting as much. Tis the spring season, and there are more sports going on than you can wave a stick at (...what an odd expression). But enough with the excuses! I come baring rankings:
Massapequa (9-0) – The Chiefs haven’t lost one game of any match this season, and defeated reigning Nassau champion Plainview in a two-game set at the Patriot Invitational earlier this month.
Plainview JFK (7-1) - Plainview hasn’t lost a conference match this season, aided by setter Jordan Lefkowitz, who had 34 assists against Port Washington last week.
Port Washington (6-3) - Adam Epstein had 16 kills and four aces and Dan Bernstein added eight kills and three aces for Port Washington as it defeated Syosset, 3-0, last week
Long Beach (6-2) – Returning outside hitter Nick Smith is proving his worth after sitting out last year injured. He has 34 kills in the past two matches.
Floral Park (9-1) - David Morris had 20 assists and 10 aces to lead Floral Park over Lawrence.
