The postseason awards keep on rolling in for Glenn’s Melissa Rigo.

Newsday’s Long Island Player of the Year was named Gatorade's New York Volleyball Player of the Year. She is the first volleyball player from Long Island to receive this honor, which was first awarded in 1996.

An outside hitter, Rigo led the Spiders to the Class B state title and was named tournament MVP.  She totaled 355 kills, 314 digs, 45 blocks and 37 service aces.
