Oyster Bay wins Nassau Class C championship

Danielle Agostinello racked up 23 assists in No. 3 Oyster Bay's upset win over No. 1 Carle Place in the Nassau Class C girls volleyball final.

Melissa Campos and Alexa Hermann each recorded nine kills and Caroline Kelly had 24 digs. Oyster Bay (15-1) will play Babylon at 4:30 Tuesday at Carle Place for the Long Island championship with the winner advancing to the state playoffs.

"I think our experience and leadership helped us win," coach Erin Murcott said. "We just went in with no pressure and we played really well. We're definitely excited."
