Regional (Long Island) Finals Tomorrow

Both the boys and girls play their regional finals tomorrow. I will be at Longwood HS covering the boys at Longwood (and since the games start at 10 a.m., I will be armed with some Red Bull), while my colleague Stephen Haynes will be at C.W. Post to cover the girls. Here are the matches (and my ever-reliable picks) for the games that determine Long Island's representatives in the state tournament:

Division A (Noon)

Half Hollow Hills/Massapequa- Hills in four games

Division B (10 a.m.)

Bellmore JFK/Eastport-South Manor- Eastport in three.

Girls

Class AA: Lindenhurst vs. Massapequa, 11 am- Lindy in five
Class C:  Mattituck vs. Carle Place, 1 pm- Carle Place in four
Class B:  Elwood-J Glenn vs. Floral Park, 3 pm- Glenn in three
Class A:  Bellport vs. Wantagh, 5 pm- Bellport in four
