Tuesday's Boys Games to Watch

The conference schedule has yet to heat up, but in the early going, here are two games that will give us a sense where some contenders stand.

1. Bellmore JFK-Valley Stream Central- The defending Class B champs embark on their repeat quest with first-year head coach Dennis Ringel at the helm.

2. Northport-Comsewogue- Northport, who opposing coaches seem to like in League II, opens its conference schedule against Comsewogue. If Northport prevails in its first two conference matches, against Comsewogue and Smithtown West, a highly anticipated showdown with powerhouse Smithtown East awaits on Sept. 23.
