Today, I will be covering a good ol' fashioned border-war matchup in the battle of the Smithtowns in a League II affair.

Smithtown East (5-0) has been unscathed in conference play thus far and look unbeatable within their League. But West (3-2) has a quality win over West Islip and has taken Bay Shore and Northport to four and five games.

Still, East should have too much depth and skill for their crosstown rivals, although look for West to make it tight and possibly force a fourth game.

As always, be sure to check out tomorrow's Newsday for full coverage of the match.

Elsewhere in Suffolk, Half Hollow Hills hosts Lindenhurst in the most intriguing League I match of the evening.
