Katie Wildes (six points) hit a driving layup with 21 seconds remaining to give Our Lady of Mercy a 46-45 win over Portledge in a non-league girls basketball game Tuesday.

Olivia Walsh led OLMA (8-10) with 19 points and nine rebounds and Laura Buscemi finished with nine points.

Whitman 48, Northport 41: Kelly Bilodeau had 18 points and Essence Casey scored 14 points with 14 rebounds for Whitman (7-3) in Suffolk League II.

Smithtown West 50, Centereach 48: Pam Giordano hit a layup with 15 seconds left in overtime and added a free throw with eight seconds left for Smithtown West (5-4) in League III. Centereach's Heather Ferchland hit a two late in the fourth to tie the score at 45 and force overtime.

Wyandanch 71, Babylon 64: Senior Lorenza Birt had career-highs of 27 points and 23 rebounds, Brianna Lampkins had a career-high 15 points and Jalicia Robinson had 19 points for Wyandanch (3-5) in League VII.

Freeport 53, Massapequa 46: Monique Jones had 23 points and Deasia Goodson had 10 points, 10 rebounds and 12 blocks for Freeport (6-3) in Nassau Conference AA-I.

Sewanhaka 56, Division 49: Celine Jolicoeur had 20 points and freshman Michelle Niles added a career-high 19 points for Sewanhaka (7-0) in Conference A-II. Laura Stuart scored 31 points for Division.

BOYS BOWLING

East Islip wins Division I. Nick DeFazio had a 253 average, Jacob Klein rolled 257 in Game 4 and John Cheadle shot 238 in Game 4 as East Islip won the Suffolk Division I Large School championship with a four-game total pinfall of 4,422 at East Islip Lanes.

GIRLS GYMNASTICS

Carle Place 144.65, South Side 141.3: Katie Caramonica took first on floor (9.0) and Kaila Klein was second on beam (8.0) to lead Carle Place (8-0) to the Nassau Conference II title.
