Although the Islanders and Brett Connolly's agent, Gerry Johannson, were working last week on setting a date for Connolly to come to Long Island before the draft, that visit now looks highly unlikely.

Connolly's camp has elected to use the prospect's Vancouver-based specialist as the point person for  medical evaluation regarding Connolly's heavily-scrutinized hip issues. The plan was for the doctor to file a report and to be available for addition inquiries from interested teams.

Long story short, the Islanders have not yet received that report. Couple that with logistical constraints (Connolly is based out of Prince George, BC and already has scheduled visits to two Western Conference teams this week) and the chances of the young forward making his way to Uniondale in the 10 days don't look good.
