Butch Goring named new Islanders game analyst
MSG has made official what we has been long expected since news broke that color analyst Billy Jaffe would not be returning for Islanders game broadcasts.
Legendary Islander Butch Goring, who won four Stanley Cups on Long Island and briefly coached the Isles as well, will be the new Islanders game analyst this season. He'll be joining longtime play-by-play man Howie Rose in the booth.
