Defenseman Calvin de Haan was a lock heading into Team Canada's evaluation camp, but fellow Islanders prospect Casey Cizikas was not.
Cizikas made the cut despite suffering a back injury during in camp Sunday. The 19-year-old center, who plays for Team Canada coach Dave Cameron with the Mississauga St. Michael's majors, scored a game-winning goal in an intrasquad game Monday to help his cause.
