Colliton waived, recall expected

 Jeremy Colliton was waived today, a necessary step to sending the forward back to the team's AHL affiliate Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

With injuries to Radek Martinek and Milan Jurcina, the Islanders are expected to recall a defenseman before tomorrow's game against Philadelphia.

The logical go-to would be Dylan Reese, that is, if he were not out with a reported upper-body injury.

So, we will see who that brings as the depth defenseman du jour by the Isles morning skate at Wachovia Center.
