Darius Kasparaitis among 1992-93 players honored

"No, not really," Kasparaitis said. "Just Vladdy [Malakhov, his Rangers teammate]. And Claude [Loiselle, former NHL operations executive], he'd call me to tell me I was suspended. But it's nice. It's been a long time."
Kasparaitis, Malakhov, Loiselle, Pierre Turgeon, Benoit Hogue, Brad Dalgarno, Steve Thomas, Gary Nylund, Pat Flatley and fan favorite Mick Vukota were on hand Saturday night for a pregame ceremony honoring the 20th anniversary of the team.
Coach Al Arbour, goaltender Glenn Healy and forward Ray Ferraro appeared on video.
Kasparaitis, who spent two years in Russia's KHL before retiring in 2009, now lives in Stockholm with his wife and three children. He volunteers once a week with the junior team of AIK of the Swedish League. "So I go and yell at them for a little bit, then I'm done," he said.
Saturday night's ceremony was the first of the team's "decade nights" during their 40th-anniversary celebration throughout this season.
