***UPDATE

Courtesy of Rangers beat writer Steve Zipay in Philly, here is a little more info. Although winger Brett Connolly was conspicuously absent from the list I just posted, he told Zipay he expected to visit the Isles some time before the draft. Here's some more from Connolly:

Have the Islanders shown significant interest?

"Yeah, they were my first interview [at the combine]. We'll see; it's hard to determine what a team needs. They do have some good young forwards....

Is the hip issue overblown?

"Well it's a big decision [for teams]. Whenever you make a first-round pick, it's got ti be someone who's not gonna end up hurt next year. But for me, it's behind me. I feel great and your body doesn't lie. I'm 100%.

***And here are some thoughts from d-man Cam Fowler:

"They seemed one of the more interested ones at the combine. We'll get to meet a little bit more Wednesday or Thursday. There's a lot of good players in the top five or six, several defensemen, so I think anything can happen...I think speed in the game today is so huge, everybody's looking for outlet passers."
