Frans Nielsen back on ice

Center Frans Nielsen was back on the ice after missing seven games with a groin strain, but head coach Jack Capuano said his availability Thursday was uncertain.

Defenseman Milan Jurcina, who suffered what the team called an “upper body” injury against New Jersey on Monday, did not practice and Capuano was awaiting an update on his condition.
