Freddy Meyer signs with Thrashers
Meyer played 64 games, a career high, for the Isles last season, with four goals and 11 assists, but with the addition of James Wisniewski, Milan Jurcina and Mark Eaton this summer, there was no room for the likable Meyer on the Isles' blue line.
His deal with Atlanta is a two-way deal, $500,000 if he makes the big club.
