The Isles GM said he has "nothing imminent" as far as trades go. "If there's a deal out there that makes our team better, we'll always look at that," Snow said.

The only moves coming up will happen Monday and originate in Bridgeport: G Mikko Koskinen will head to Finland to play after not finding any room for regular play in the AHL, and RW Nino Niederreiter will return from a two-week conditioning stint.

When Niederreiter returns to the Islanders, he'll play -- possibly Tuesday against the Rangers. As for who sits -- Blake Comeau and Jay Pandolfo seem the most likely wingers to be scratched -- Jack Capuano isn't looking that far ahead.

"I feel we have the guys here who can do the job," he said. "Now we just have to make sure they can do the job we need them to."
