Hillen signs with Nashville
Former Islanders defenseman Jack Hillen has signed a one-year, two-way deal with Nashville, the team announced this afternoon.
Hillen spent the last three seasons with the Islanders; the 25-year-old Minnetonka, MN native finished last season with four goals and 22 points.
Hoping to get bigger on defense, the Islanders chose not to extend the restricted free agent a qualifying offer this summer
