Isles get Pens, Flyers to start season

The NHL released team schedules for the 2012-13 season on Thursday, with the Islanders opening their season in Pittsburgh against the Penguins on October 12.
The Isles return to Nassau Coliseum the following day for a 7 p.m. home game against the Flyers.
Three four-game homestands highlight the Isles' schedule; one from Nov. 24 to Dec. 1, one in early February, and a third one in early April.
The Rangers and Isles first square off on Nov. 13 on Long Island at 7 p.m.
