Islanders activate D Brendan Witt
Islanders defenseman Brendan Witt has been activated off IR.
Witt, who has battled a nagging knee injury, has not played since January 8 against Dallas.
Yesterday Scott Gordon was mum on whether Witt was a possibility for tomorrow's game against Tampa Bay, but this move seems to indicate he'll return.

No update yet on Josh Bailey, who suffered an upper-body injury during the second period of Sunday's game against Florida. Will check back in as soon as I hear.

Martin Biron, who was sent down to Bridgeport for conditioning yesterday, is expected to play Friday and Saturday before returning to the team on Sunday.
