Andrew MacDonald is headed home to Nova Scotia this week, but he'll be back in three weeks to have a metal rod removed from his broken left hand.
MacDonald took Douglas Murray's shot off the back of his hand in Game 4, an injury that the Isles had trouble overcoming.
"I thought the guys played their hearts out in Game 6," he said. "It was just one of those things."
