Islanders sign Hilbert, Hisey
The Islanders have signed centers Andy Hilbert and Rob Hisey to one-year, two-way contracts.
Hilbert, who played for the Islanders for three seasons (2006-09), spent the majority of last season with the Minnesota Wild's AHL affiliate Houston Aeros.
The 29-year-old center had nine goals and 16 assists in 33 games with the Aeros.
Hisey, 25, split time between the AHL's Springfield Falcons (11 goals, 14 assists in 37 games) and the CHL's Tulsa Oilers (19 goals, 22 assists in 24 games).
