Islanders snowed in; Martin and Joensuu back down to Bridgeport
Because of the treacherous blizzard back here, the Islanders were unable to fly back last night after the game in Pittsburgh.
Not a huge deal considering they were not originally scheduled to practice today. They'll be back at it tomorrow before their final two games Saturday and Sunday heading into the Olympic break.
Matt Martin and Jesse Joensuu, both of whom were called up on Monday, have been reassigned to Bridgeport.
They are both expected to be back at practice tomorrow.
