Islanders to make 'major announcement' at Barclays Center
Mayor Michael Bloomberg, New York Islanders owner Charles Wang and developer Bruce Ratner are set to make a major announcement Wednesday afternoon at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the Islanders announced.
The Islanders lease at Nassau Coliseum expires in 2015. Wang has said he won't stay beyond the expiration of the lease.
