Isles announce radio partnership
The Islanders announced a new radio partnership today; they'll be teaming up with WRHU 88.7 FM Hofstra University this season.
According to a team release, long-time color guy Chris King will be doing play-by-play with a rotating cast of Hofstra University students as color analysts and sideline reporters.
"We are excited to work with the Hofstra based radio station, WRHU, to not only broadcast Islanders games but provide opportunities for future members of the industry," said Isles Senior VP of Corporate Partnerships Justin Johnson. "Hofstra has a terrific School of Communication and we are looking forward to the reflection of that in this season's broadcasts."
