Isles send Kirill Kabanov back to juniors
The Islanders are sending enigmatic Russian winger Kirill Kabanov back to his junior team, the Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL today.
Kabanov, who was taken by the Islanders in the third round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft this June, was disciplined twice for tardiness during his short stay on Long Island.
Talented young player...should be interesting to see if he can improve his habits back in Moncton this year.
