Isles tickets on secondary market going for more in Brooklyn than at Nassau Coliseum

The Islanders' inaugural season in Brooklyn is costing fans who buy tickets on the resale market far more money than during the last season at Nassau Coliseum, according to SeatGeek, a site that monitors the secondary market.
So far, at least.
To date the average resale price for an Islanders ticket for the 2015-16 season has been $97, according to SeatGeek, compared to $57 at this time a year ago.
That $40 increase has driven the Islanders from having had the least expensive tickets in the NHL at this time last year to 16th out of 30 on that list. (The Rangers are seventh, at $140 per ticket. The Chicago Blackhawks are No. 1 at $206.)
The most expensive Islanders home game to this point is the home opener against the Blackhawks, which has averaged $217 per ticket sold on the secondary market.
