Isles trim roster by 17
Following last night's split-squad games, the Islanders have released their next round of cuts:
Dean McAmmond, Krys Kolanos, Jed Ortmeyer, Manny Legace and Anders Eriksson have been released.
Justin DiBenedetto, Micheal Haley, Jesse Joensuu, Rob Hisey, Mark Katic, Tomas Marcinko, Rhett Rakhshani, David Ullstrom, Jeremy Yablonski, Dylan Reese, Travis Hamonic and Mikko Koskinen were all sent to Bridgeport.
