Isles vs. Avs in Saturday matinee
With injured goaltender Rick DiPietro back in NY, Isles coach Jack Capuano has given the nod to Kevin Poulin, who will make his first NHL start today against Colorado at the Pepsi Center in Denver.
Avalanche are 2-4-1 in their last seven games and head into today's contest coming off a 2-0 shutoff loss to Phoenix.
Capuano confirmed yesterday that Bridgeport call-up Jeremy Colliton will play today. Frans Nielsen, he said, is "definitely questionable," so assume the jack-of-all trades Danish centerman will not dress.
