Isles wrap up West Coast trip against Kings tonight
Winless in nine games, the Islanders wrap up a three-game West Coast trip against the Kings tonight.
While the Isles try to stop their suffocating streak, the Kings will try to protect an untarnished record at home. The team's 7-0-0 start at Staples Center this season is tied for the best in franchise history.
Assuming Jonathan Quick plays tonight, the Isles will have a tough test against one of the hottest goaltenders in the league (who, incidentally, also happens to be Matt Moulson's brother-in-law). Quick is 9-1-0 this season with a 1.58 GAA and .944 save percentage.
Rob Schremp returns to the lineup after two games scratched; Scott Gordon declined to divulge the corresponding lineup move.
Dwayne Roloson will start his fifth straight.
