Jay Pandolfo accepts camp invite
The 36-year-old Pandolfo, who played briefly for Springfield of the AHL last season after spending his entire 13-year NHL career with the Devils, will compete for a fourth-line roster spot.
GM Garth Snow had extended the invite earlier in the summer. Pandolfo, a former teammate of another new Isle, Brian Rolston (as well as Mike Mottau), could provide some help on the penalty kill that was lost when Zenon Konopka wasn't re-signed.
It's also another savvy veteran in a relatively young room.
