Jeremy Colliton back again with the Islanders
What's different for Jeremy Colliton since the last time he appeared in a game for the Islanders more than two years ago?
About 15 pounds, a lot more confidence, and much less anxiety.
"It's just not being nervous anymore," the 25-year-old Colliton said of his current stint with the Islanders.
When Colliton joined the team in Denver around 6 p.m. yesterday he had several friendly faces to greet upon his arrival, including several former teammates and his old coach in Bridgeport Jack Capuano.
That should ease the transition when Colliton replaces injured centerman Frans Nielsen in the lineup today. The Blackie, Alberta native has eight goals and eight assists in 32 games for Bridgeport this season.
"I'm just going to be myself, skate hard, be physical and do the things that are positive that I know I can contribute," he said.
