Josh Bailey remained on the second line with Frans Nielsen and Kyle Okposo for a second day of practice Wednesday. Those three had a good run at the end of last season.
Michael Grabner was on the left with Keith Aucoin and Colin McDonald, and David Ullstrom skated with Casey Cizikas and Matt Martin.
Evgeni Nabokov will get the start Thursday night in goal against the Rangers at Madison Square Garden.
