Jurcina on IR, Lawson to start, Schremp possible v. BUF
Milan Jurcina, who suffered an upper- body injury in Monday's loss to the Devils, has been placed on injured reserve retroactive to January 17.
The 6-4, 240-pound defenseman, who missed five weeks earlier this season with a hamstring injury, is expected to miss 2-4 weeks.
Jurcina signed a one-year, $1.6 million extension with the Islanders earlier this month.

Nathan Lawson will start tonight against Buffalo. He'll be backed up by fellow rookie Kevin Poulin. Rick DiPietro stayed behind in Long Island because of a flu he has been battling the past few days.

Center Rob Schremp, who was scratched last night against Washington, could play tonight.
