UPDATE End of 2nd period Boston leads 3-1
Trailing by two goals, Isles Nino Niederreiter tallies his first goal as an Islander to cut the Bruins' lead in half. El Nino tipped in Travis Hamonic's point shot at 11:51, but Isles down two goals after two periods.
UPDATE End of 1st period 0-0:
Casey Cizikas rings one off the post at the end of the period but we're still scoreless here after the first. Isles killed off three penalties and Mikko Koskinen looked sharp, turning away 15 shots.
Second period starts with some 4-on-4 hockey....

Kevin Poulin is expected to start tomorrow.
Bridgeport coaches Jack Capuano and Pat Bingham will be behind the bench tonight for the Islanders; Scott Gordon will watch from up top.
Spoke to Nino Niederreiter down in the hallway just now and he said he received some sage advice from vets Mark Streit and Kyle Okposo.
Streit wished him good luck and told him to enjoy himself; Okposo told him to shoot as much as possible.
"I heard he didn't do that a lot last year, so I'll try to to do that," Niederreiter said.
