Mark Flood emergency recall
Hard to imagine the Islanders defense could be depleted any worse, but with nine games remaining, it has.
Bridgeport defenseman Mark Flood will play tonight for the Islanders as an emergency recall for Dustin Kohn.
Kohn suffered what is believed to be a concussion after cracking his head on the ice after a collision with Sean Avery in Wednesday's 5-0 loss to the Rangers.
Flood has 10 goals and 22 assists in 58 games for Bridgeport this season.
