Micheal Haley returns to the lineup tonight after missing a game with a knee injury suffered in the Islanders' 2-1 OT loss to Washington Tuesday.

Haley took Alex Ovechkin's shot below the left knee cap during the first period. Although he tested it for a shift in the second period, he went right back to the trainer's room. Haley missed the Islanders 4-1 win over the Wild Wednesday.

Good thing his injury wasn't too serious since the Islanders need an extra forward to plug in to fill the void left by Trevor Gillies' absence.

Al Montoya will start today against the St. Louis Blues.

When asked his reaction to Gillies' ten-game suspension, coach Jack Capuano said:

"It's tough for me to expand on that. It's the league's decision, but we stand behind him."
