Islanders in the Hall of Fame
MIKE BOSSY

Mike Bossy, a seven-time All-Star right wing, three-time winner of the Lady Byng and the 1981-82 Conn Smythe winner, was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1991. He scored 461 goals and tallied 445 assists in 10 seasonsm all with the Islanders.

Islanders defenseman Denis Potvin was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1991 after a 15-year career in which he won the Norris Trophy three times and earned nine All-Star nominations.
BILLY SMITH

Islanders goalie Billy Smith was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1993. He played all but one of his 18 seasons for the Islanders, had a career .882 save percentage and recorded 304 wins in 675 games played. He also won the 1981-82 Vezina Trophy.
BILL TORREY

Bill Torrey, the former Islanders general manager who is credited with building the team that won four straight Stanley Cups, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1995.
AL ARBOUR

Al Arbour, who had 740 coaching wins in 1,500 career NHL games and was behind the bench for the Islanders' four consecutive Stanley Cups, entered the Hall of Fame in 1996.
BRYAN TROTTIER

Bryan Trottier, the Islanders center who won the Hart Trophy in 1978-79 and the Conn Smythe in 1979-80, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1997.
CLARK GILLIES

Clark Gillies, the Islanders left wing who scored 304 goals and tallied 359 assists in 14 career NHL seasons, was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2002.
PAT LAFONTAINE

Pat LaFontaine, who was the Islanders' center for eight of his 15 seasons, entered the Hall of Fame in 2003. He had 468 career goals and notched 545 assists.
