Considering the remarkably bad luck the Islanders have had this year with injuries, it comes as no surprise that they have lost two more players for the rest of the season.

Both Frans Nielsen (concussion) and Milan Jurcina (hip) will miss the remaining three games of the season.

Nielsen has yet to pass his baseline test after a first-period hit from Rangers forward Marian Gaborik forced him from the game Thursday.

Jurcina, who tweaked his right hip during practice last week, has not played since the team's 4-1 loss against Philadelphia March 26.
