Breakaway: Orange team...with Rhett Rakhshani's goal (worth noting: Kabanov and Niederreiter both attempted moves that would've put a smile on Rob Schremp's face).

UPDATE: Orange team up 3-1 after two-period scrimmage. Both first-round draft picks Nino Niederreiter (penalty shot) and Brock Nelson scored for their respective teams. Long Island camp invites Joey Diamond and Danny Markowitz both chipped in a goal apiece as well. On to the skills competition.

About five thousand  fans on hand here now for the Isles' Orange v. Blue Scrimmage at NVMC tonight...a couple last minute scratches:

Kirill Petrov, Anton Klementyev, Brian Day and goaltender Kevin Poulin.

Petrov has a shoulder injury and will see the team doctor Monday; Klementyev has a leg injury...will update about others after the scrimmage.
