Prospect camp recap

 Now that we've all had a day to digest last night's Orange Vs. Blue scrimmage, here are some thoughts:

--Travis Hamonic and Matt Martin really stood out; Without attaching too much to a two-period scrimmage, I still think they'll both compete for roster spots come September

--Also thought Matt Donovan, Casey Cizikas and Mikko Koskinen made a good impression

-- Nino Niederreiter and Kirill Kabanov gave fans a show with some pretty impressive moves in the breakaway competition

--For a big kid, Brock Nelson can skate. For a little more on Nelson (who scored for Team Blue yesterday as well), check out today's story on his long line of Minnesota hockey legends.
