Rhett Rakhshani recalled

 Apparently Rhett Rakhshani has been recalled because I just saw him in the Islanders hallway.

Jon Sim, who was placed on waivers yesterday, will report to Bridgeport assuming he clears.

Before the Islanders practice this morning, injured goaltender Rick DiPietro was working with goaltending consultant Sudsie Maharaj. Also on the ice were injured forwards Kyle Okposo, Trent Hunter, Frans Nielsen and Doug Weight (only one not wearing full gear).
