Sorry I was in transit when this was confirmed so I was forced to rely on Twitter...
Rick DIPietro will be on the Islanders upcoming road trip.
DiPietro, who was officially recalled from Bridgeport after playing two full AHL games over the weekend, will be with the team when they leave after practice tomorrow on their Western jaunt (Colorado, Dallas, Phoenix).
This means that DiPietro's first NHL start of the season is a very real possibility over the next three games.
