Sound Tigers' season over
Trailing 3-1 in the series against Hershey, the Sound Tigers were eliminated from the AHL playoffs with a 4-1 loss to the Bears tonight.
Taking a look at the box score and it's not that difficult to see why: Bridgeport was outshout 34-7 by Hershey and managed only one shot on goal in the first period.
In his second AHL playoff start, goaltender Mikko Koskinen made 30 saves.
