Islanders defenseman James Wisniewski  isn't worried about any spillover from the last game against the Rangers--a 6-4 win October 11 during which he earned himself a two-game suspension for making a lewd gesture towards Rangers forward Sean Avery.

After practice Wednesday, Wisniewski told Newsday his main concern is to help his team win, not revisit an incident almost two months old.

"I wouldn't think so," Wisniewski said when asked if he expects there to be any residual nastiness. "That's the last thing on my mind. We've won one game in the last 15."

Regardless of what Avery does or says on the ice tomorrow, Wisniewski said he won't be taking the bait.

"That's not something I can do. I can't be selfish. I've got to stay on the ice and help my team win."
