Witt headed to IR; Bergenheim coming off
Sean Bergenheim is on the ice this morning and defenseman Brendan Witt is not.
Expect Witt to be placed on injured reserve sometime this afternoon and Bergenheim to be taken off in time to play in tonight's game against Detroit.
(On the Islanders game notes, it actually already has Witt on IR as of January 12).
Hard to tell the actual lines this morning, since both Doug Weight and Richard Park are not on the ice for the morning skate, but Bergenheim was skating this morning on the left wing on a line with John Tavares and Jon Sim.
Dwayne Roloson will start in net.
