X-rays have revealed that Andrew MacDonald suffered a broken nose in his first-period collision with Ottawa's Chris Kelly Tuesday night. MacDonald, who returned to the game in the second period, will still play tonight against the Bruins, however.

MacDonald, who wore Bruno Gervais' shield immediately after suffering the injury, was outfitted for his own "bubble" recently and expects to wear it for another 3-4 weeks.

MacDonald said he met with four different doctors yesterday to make sure his teeth, eyes and facial bones were unharmed. He will not need any type of corrective surgery after the season.
