           The underrated Brent Sopel's slapper from the right point after John Madden's faceoff win tied the game for Chicago after a video replay awarded a goal to the Flyers at 9:55. Scott Hartnell tipped down Chris Pronger's shot and after it squirted past Niemi, the puck tricked across the goal line just before Niklas Hjalmarsson's desperate swipe out. Play continued until a stoppage with 8:33 left. 

         Duncan Keith's slap shot that was deflected by Jeff Carter had tied the game at one earlier in the period. Hawks have 21 shots, Flyers 16.
