A day to put aside the hate....
Before we return to our regularly-scheduled programming:
On the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, wouldn't it be refreshing if Americans, Muslims, and people of all creeds and colors could somehow find common ground, a sense of unity, and shove aside the hate?
For a few days?
A month?
Dare we hope a little longer?
Idealistic? Probably.
Far better than rage and pessimism? Absolutely.

As for your Rangers: Could today mark the on-ice arrival of the F-men? LWs Alexander Frolov and Ruslan Fedotenko. The latter agreed to a camp tryout last night. I'll be there for the informal group skate in Westchester. Also, we'll try to keep you updated on the 3:30 game in Traverse City between the Rangers and Blue Jackets prospects. There should be Twitter updates and an in-game blog from Michigan at nyrangers.com...
