Anson Carter will join MSG Networks’ Rangers broadcast team this season as a studio analyst, joining Steve Valiquette.

Carter and Dave Maloney will work select games alongside Valiquette. Ron Duguay had been in the studio for MSG’s Rangers coverage for the past 12 seasons but will not return.

Carter, who played two seasons as a forward for the Rangers from 2002 to 2004, also is a studio analyst for NBC.

Sam Rosen will return for his 35th season as the Rangers’ play-by-play voice, and Joe Micheletti will begin his 13th as game analyst. John Giannone is in his 16th season as a reporter.

Al Trautwig will host the studio coverage for home games and Bill Pidto for road games.

Kenny Albert is back as the lead radio play-by-play man, with Don La Greca as his backup. Maloney is the lead radio analyst.
